POSTER CONTEST RULES

Article 1 - The object is to offer to the young ones their belief to protect the sea life under whatever form it is to supply a poster for the manifestation “2000 regards sous la mer” the aim of which is to make aware of a larger public the protection of the marine environment

Article 2 - Technical Prescription :
Poster format : 40 cm x 60 cm vertical layout
Considered techniques : painting, partridge, coloured pencils.
Please, write at the back of the drawing : The school, the name, the surname of the child.
Avoid inscriptions and pasting.

Article 3 - Collective Poster or Individual poster.
in order to make easier the jury’s work in every classroom. the teacher selects or makes to select the drawings that would represent the same with the contest.In the case where, the teacher is against to do that selection, its the organization committee that will select, all the same, among the work received from the classroom.
Collection of the posters from the schools will be done by end of February.

Article 4 - Functionning
Marine World specialists, educative and artistic circles will compose the jury. Members of the jury set up the contest prize list within the framework of the manifestation “2000 Regards sous la mer” and do award prizes and graduations to prize-winners.
The awarded posters will participate in the international poster contest “Aidons l’eau, Aidons la vie” organized by the UNESCO clubs, the Underwater world-wide picture Festival and the Paul RICARD Oceanographic institute.

Article 5 - The organizers of the manifestation and of the international contest, do reserve the possibility using and reproducing the works to ensure the promotion of the aforesaid contest commercial aspect beyond any commercial aspect.
