Moscow International Diving Festival «Golden Dolphin»

This festival takes place every year and unites everyone who likes taking underwater photo and making video films about the wonders of the underwater world. Within these four days you will have a chance to meet a lot of people who share your professional interests and discuss your ideas and exchange views with them.
This year «Golden Dolphin» festival has the best exhibition hall near the Red Square. You will be wandered at the substantial scale of this event.
You are also welcome to visit special seminars, master-classes, the best video film presentations, sport competitions and presentations of the leading companies of diving equipment.
The program of the festival also includes different shows, concerts and funny competitions. Every evening the most popular singers will present their concerts for you.
First there is a swimming pool where is all interested could dive!
The Coal of the Festival is also to promote cultural events and activities related to development of diving, marine environment protection by means of various artistic presentations.
Everyone could visit the exhibition of underwater photos, to see the films which are participated in the contest, to communicate with authors of these works, to discuss news of technique and technologies.

Nominations of the video part:

1. "Grand-Prix"- All the films are examined, not depending on the item or duration. Grand-Prix is presented to THE BEST film of the year.

2. "Best Diving TV Program" - interesting and educational script, attracting attention to the problems of u/w world (ecology, history, etc), positive emotions, promotion of safe diving.

3. "Best Camera Work" - shooting conditions, uniqueness must be considered, the main is mastery of cameraman.

4. "Big Trip" - club or family film, attracting to diving and travelling as active way of life, promoting dive-club activities.

5. "Best U/W Animal Film" - "unusual" animal starring, complexity of shooting, also careful attitude of shooting team toward their live object must be concerned.
6. "Diving in the native expanses" - promoting diving in CIS waters, information value.

7. "Wreck" - uniqueness of wreck, historical information, quality of shooting must be taken in mind.

8. "Best music clip" -the best musical film about diving (max 10 minutes).

Video Contest Jury

1. Chief of Jury- Andrey Makarevich
-Poet, composer, TV- producer. Diver for more than 30 years. Repeated winner of the “Teffi” Award. The author and the leader of the TV program “Andrey Makarevich’s Underwater World”.

2. Co-Chief of Jury- Christian Petron
-producer and cameraman, hi has more than 70 films, the best known among them are: «The Big Blue», «Atlantis» for feature films; and the Discovery Cannel Exploration Campaigns on the wreck of the TITANIC.

3. Alexander Ryibin
-Director-Operator, Senior Lecturer, the Dean for Operator’s Department at the VGIK. Winner of the State Award of Russian Federation. Honored Figure of Arts of the Russian Federation.

4. Vyacheslav Sachkov
-Director-Operator, Honored Figure of Arts of the RF, member of cinematography society RF, Director-operator of the following films: "The murder of emperor. Versions", "Seventh anniversary of USSR", "Alexander Solzhenitsyn. Life without lie".

5. Alexander Trofimov
- Film-Director, author of films and TV-programs, director of the program "Travellers Club". Winner of the "Teffi" Award “For the best educational program".
